My Father’s Dragon

The first exhibition in Japan of the 1948 American children’s book “My Father’s Dragon” Featuring approximately 130 original illustrations, it also created a space where visitors could experience the story. We designed the promotional materials, including posters and short animations, as well as books, original merchandise, and venue graphics. The visual identity of the exhibition was crafted using a lively handwritten typeface that captures the excitement of adventure. Inspired by the fact that the original edition used calligraphy by the author’s husband, we drew from the story’s theme of family collaboration in creating the work.
